Bisher hat es immer funktioniert. Übrigens streikt auch das Laden von Erweiterungen.

Joomla akualisieren kann ich probieren. Habe Bedenken, dass dann gar nichts mehr geht.

Hurra! Problem gelöst. Ich hatte in Strato den Schreibschutz aktiviert. Nach Deaktivierung geht nun alles. Dank für alle Ratschläge,
vor allem für den Tipp, mich mal bei Strato Backup umzusehen!
