Helix 3 - Menu height difference if has submenu entry (CSS)

Hi,

I currently try to modify the mega menu of the Helix3 template using the following CSS code to highlight the active element and do the same when hovering over the menu entry.

/* Menu active style */
.sp-megamenu-parent > li.active > a {
    color: #150766;
    border-bottom: 2px solid black;
    line-height:2;
}

/* Menu hover style */
#sp-header .sp-megamenu-parent>li:hover>a {
    color: #150766;
    border-bottom: 2px solid black;
    line-height: 2;
}

This results in underlining the active and hovered menu entry.

Now the following problem occurs, if the menu entry has a submenu entry the border bottom line is at a different height then if the menu entry has no submenu entry (See Home vs. Verein Screenshot). Has somebody an idea how I can fix this so that the menu items get rendered every time to the same height independent if submenu entry is there or not ?
